Beverley Art Prize & Exhibition
Traditionally held on Easter Long Weekend
Having commenced in 1967, the Beverley Art Exhibition is one of the oldest annual exhibitions in Western Australia. The exhibition attracts upwards of 300 paintings from some of the most talented artists Australia-wide. Offering generous prize money, the show is consistently praised for the quality of its artworks as well as the professionalism with which it is run. Opening Night is a festive and well-attended event with drinks and tasting platters. Held at the iconic art deco Beverley Town Hall, the exhibition is open daily for the duration of Easter weekend. The Art Exhibition is a prestigious and popular attraction among the many events held in Beverley over Easter weekend.

Beverley Station Arts Easter Markets
Traditionally held annually on Easter Long Weekend
Every Easter, in conjunction with our Art Exhibition, the Station Arts Gallery and Platform Theatre host a lively market day. Held at the gorgeous gardens of the Beverley Platform Theatre and open to all visitors, there are many stalls offering a variety of items for sale. Children’s entertainment, great food and a welcoming atmosphere make this a great day to add to your calendar.
Beverley Agricultural Show
Held annually in August
This annual event is held on the third Saturday in August attracting more than 3,000 people to Beverley. A fun filled, family event with sideshow alley, exhibition sheds, animals, equestrian displays and fireworks. Visit www.beverleyagsociety.com for more information.
Bruce Rock & Districts Agricultural Show
Held annually in September

Bruce Rock Back to the Bush Veterans Reunion
Held biannually in November
Welcoming all Military Personnel -Past and Present, Emergency Service Personnel and Civilians The Back to the Bush Veterans Reunion is held on the first weekend in November each year and is a reunion dedicated to all veterans who have served our country. The reunion is also opened up to the wider public who wish to share in the camaraderie. Veterans from all over Australia travel to Bruce Rock to enjoy the camaraderie of the community. The event runs for a week with different social events, sporting competitions and time to chill out and relax in our fabulous community. The community of Bruce Rock hold a concert on the Saturday evening along with activities all week including: Commemorative March, Live Music, Kids entertainment, 10th Light Horse Troup Military Museum Tour, Markets.
Corrigin Agricultural Show
Held annually on the second Saturday in September
The Corrigin Agricultural Show is full of wonderful things to see and do. With an exhibit hall full of entries, an oval full of huge, modern farm machinery, trade stalls, car displays, local arts & crafts, farm animals, dog trials, sheep shearing competition, sideshow alley for the kids and heaps of food to tempt your taste buds. Hyden Wave Rock Weekender
Held annually on the long weekend in September
Over three days and nights Wave Rock Weekender features a line-up of Australian and international music acts; feature films and documentaries. Enjoy festival food and drinks; take a dip (and a float) in the a 50m round, 6m deep therapeutic salt pond, take some incredible rock walks; participate in some of Australia’s best stargazing; all surrounded by the authentic Aussie bush in Australia’s Golden Outback. This event is held on the long weekend in September every year and attracts people from across the state.
Kondinin Gourmet in the Garden
Held annually in March
Wine and dine under the stars with food cooked by an invited chef using fresh produce from the garden and the local area. Gourmet in the Garden is Kondinin’s long table dinner experience and this year we are joined by invited Chef, Sophie Budd, who will be preparing Balinese style meals. Upcoming singer, Sunny Day, will be performing throughout the evening, and Mint Event Collective will be serving delicious cocktails and cold beverages. Gourmet in the Garden is held at the Kondinin Community Garden – the perfect venue under the stars, and a night not to be missed!

Kondinin Art Exhibition
Held annually in the second weekend of October
Run by the Kondinin Artists’ Group, the Kondinin Art Exhibition is held annually on the second weekend of October. The exhibition is open for a week and showcases a high calibre of art work from across the State in various mediums. The Shire Acquisition Prize is valued at $7,500 and with individual medium winners taking home prize money of up to $11,800. Opening night is held at the Kondinin Town Hall. Kondinin ANZAC Day Dawn Service
Held annually at Yeerakine Rock, the vista from the rock summit and the light horseman statue make for a moving service.

Blazing Swan
Held annually in April
Held annually over the Easter weekend, the event follows the ten Burning Man Principles and Blazing Swan’s 11 Principles – Consent. The event is a celebration of art, performance, and community held across seven days. Blazing Swan is part of the worldwide community of more than 80 burns, drawing inspiration from Burning Man in the USA.
Kulin Bush Races
Held annually in October
Far more than just a horse race, the weekend offers up to 4,000 excited guests a wide range of events and activities starting on Friday afternoon, and finishing up with a good hearty breakfast on Sunday morning. There is something for everybody; camping, live music, novelty events, kids’ entertainment, races and great country hospitality.

Treasure Trail Market Day
Traditionally held in October/November
Come and enjoy a morning at the markets! Coffee, food, and lots of stalls to enjoy. Located on the lawn outside the Lake Grace Visitor Centre.
Harvest Christmas Festival
Traditionally held in December
Enjoy the festivities of the season and catch up on some last minute Christmas shopping at the Lake Grace Harvest Christmas Festival. Music, food, entertainment and market stalls all make for a fantastic evening.
Newdegate Machinery Field Days
First Wednesday and Thursday in September
From the first Field Days in 1973, our iconic event has grown to become one of the most renowned and recognised in the Eastern Great Southern of Western Australia. With more than 300 exhibitors and between 9,000 – 11,000 visitors annually, we are focused on providing both a unique and fulfilling experience for all who attend and exhibit, with something to interest all members of the family, no matter what age.
Machinery, technology and research, animals and livestock, outdoor and camping exhibits, arts, fashion, show bags, food and wine, local produce, live entertainment, and much more, form the basis of the two day event, which promotes and celebrates innovation in agriculture.

Narembeen Long Ladies Lunch
Every second year in March
The Narembeen Ladies Long Lunch (LLL) is an event that provides a social, networking and personal development opportunity for regional women (from both the Narembeen district and surrounds). At the LLL, women are able to come together in a safe, supportive and fun environment to broaden their horizons, meet new people, share experiences and have the opportunity to network with and to be inspired by other women who are entrepreneurs, leaders and share their passion and creativity. The event has a strong focus on promoting regional women and their successes, appreciating our region and supporting these women and their families through the challenges that are ever-present in regional life. The Narembeen Ladies Long Lunch is a unique event for the region and aims to attract up to 150 women of diverse ages, demographics, vocations, locations, talents, passions and expertise. The day attracts guest speakers sharing their business and mental well-being expertise as well as musicians and entertainers which results in a day full of fun, inspiration, motivation and laughter and opens doors for interaction between towns.
SOCK Week
Held annually in the last weekend of June
SOCK stands for ‘Save Our Country Kids’ and is a road safety initiative created by the Narembeen CRC. SOCK week is a week long campaign of education on road safety and the impact poor decision making can have within a small community.
Held annually in the last week of June, the week comprises a number of activities and events which promote several road safety messages such as drink driving, speeding, distractions and fatigue and is aimed at a broad cross-section of the community. The initiative aims to raise awareness, inform and educate road users as well as promote safe, legal and responsible road use.
It is a significant event for our community which has a strong social media presence with a huge focus on remembering those that we have lost in road accidents in our community.
The Shire of Narembeen and the Narembeen CRC would welcome other communities touched by road accidents in their communities to come on board and implement SOCK Week in their communities.
Quairading Ag Show
Held annually in October
The Quairading and Surrounding Districts Agricultural Society Inc. was established in 1920 and hosts the annual Quairading Agricultural Society Show, in Spring. This is a huge day on the Quairading Events Calendar, including an exhibition hall of local produce, crafts and creations, wool shed, shearing displays, side show alley entertainment, food, drinks and fun for all!
Quairading Curtain Raisers
Held annually in October
A dedicated team of local volunteer cast and crew perform a musical every other year at the Quairading Town Hall. Keep an eye on social media for the announcement of the next show.
